How to Personalizing Google News

Google News lets you rearrange its home page http://news.google.com
at will, andby clicking the Personalize this page link you can either choose to add or remove
standard sections or create a custom section to this Google Web page. You can also
add Google News to your personal Google start page. But your personalized start
page is not the same as the home page of your business’s Web site. Your Web site is
your public face to the world, while your personalized start page is something only
you see. By adding Google News to your start page, you get your own news more
quickly. Just follow these steps:

1. Go to your Google Apps Start Page by going to http://www.google.com/a,
clicking Returning user, sign in here, entering your domain name, and clicking
Go.
2. Click on the ‘‘Add Stuff’’ button in the top-right corner of your homepage.
(This will open the Google homepage directory.)
3. Click on the ‘‘News’’ link on the left.
4. Click on the ‘‘Google News’’ gadget to add it to your page.
It would be nice if you could select a set of news headlines in a particular category,
such as fashion or banking, and add the headlines to your own home page.

BlackBerry Classic at $430 Indonesia

BlackBerry has formally introduced the
BlackBerry Classic in one of its key market
- Indonesia. The new BlackBerry Classic has
a full physical QWERTY keyboard along with
 the touchscreen display. BlackBerry Classic
 is priced at IDR 55,99,000.

That translates to $431 and is cheaper than the
Indian pricing which is about $517. The BlackBerry
Classic's full QWERTY keyboard has fret-board
like metal riffs to separate each row. Featuring a
3.5-inch 720x720 pixel display, the Classic is
powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus
chipset with 1.2GHz CPU paired with 2 GB RAM.
With 16 GB expandable storage, it runs BlackBerry
OS 10.3.1 out of the box and packs 2,515 mAh battery.

Xiaomi has wildly expanded its product range

Xiaomi has wildly expanded its product range -
  starting with smartphones, the fast-growing
company now offers TVs, Android TV boxes,
headphones, battery packs and a fitness tracker.

And there are more new products incoming at the
end of the month, March 31. That's right products -
the company is teasing the readers of its teaming
forum and even has them trying to guess how many
new Mi products will be unveiled by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun.

As you can imagine, the overwhelming vote is for more
than three devices. So, will it be a new phone? Xiaomi
already has the flagship Mi Note and Mi Note Pro, plus
the mid-range darling, the Redmi 2. The Xiaomi Ferrari
 recently leaked, a 5" powerhouse, plus an ultra-cheap $65
phone is expected too. The company may even be toying
with a Windows 10 handset. There's some talk of a
smartwatch too, but the Mi Band may be enough for now.
There were even rumors flying around about a drone.
Xiaomi is light on tablets though, it only has the Mi Pad 7.9,
which was unveiled in March last year.

Hutchison Whampoa

Hutchison Whampoa began talks with
Telefonica to buy carrier O2 UK in January.
The companies have finally reached an agreement
for a sum of £10.3 billion, of course pending an
 approval from regulators.

Hutchison Whampoa already owns Three UK.
If the deal goes through, the combined company
will overtake the current biggest UK carrier, EE,
and achieve around 40% market share and 33 million
customers. Hutchison bought Telefonica's O2 Ireland
in 2013 for €780 million. The company says that regulatory
approval may take up to a year so it will be a while
before the deal goes through. £9.25 billion will be
paid first, while the final £1 billion is subject to certain
agreed-upon performance metrics from O2. EE,
which itself is a merger of Orange and T-Mobile

Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 owners in India

Samsung had began rolling out the Android 5.0
Lollipop update for its Galaxy smartphone lineup.
Now the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 owners in
India are getting the Lollipop OTA update.

The Exynos powered Galaxy S5 G900H is
getting the Lollipop update with system-wide
UI tweaks, performance improvements and bug fixes.

Of course, the Material design of the Lollipop has
been wrapped in TouchWiz layer and hence it
would not be a radical change. The OTA update
weighs 874.21 MB. Samsung has been seeding
the Lollipop update for Snapdragon based S5
and later for Exynos based model since last
December, starting with South Korea, then
continued to offer it in Poland, Spain, UK, US,
 and other regions.

LG rolled out the Android 5.0

LG rolled out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for
the G2 smartphone in South Korea back in
mid-January. After a long wait, the Indian owners
of G2 finally get a word on Lollipop update -
expect it in Q2 of 2015. @i_Gujju Hi, the Lollipop
update for #LGG2 is expected in Q2' 2015.

Stay tuned!— LG India
LGIndiaTweets March 19, 2015 LG India's Twitter
account revealed that the G2 owners will get the
Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the second quarter
of 2015 - between April and June. This will be a major
update from the current KitKat and hence we recommend
to backup your data, perform a factory reset and then
download the Lollipop update over a Wi-Fi connection.
LG had released the Lollipop update for the G3 in India
but the performance of the update is not that exemplary.

Quite possible that the Android 5.0's memory leak bug
is causing that and is expected to be fixed with the
Android 5.1 Lollipop

Sony Android 5.0 Lollipop for Xperia Z serie

Sony's  main focus remains on the Xperia Z series.
While most other Android smartphones are getting
the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, the owners of
Sony Xperia devices inquired about the same for
their devices. Sony surprised everyone by stating
via its official Twitter account that the Lollipop
update will be released only for the the Xperia Z
series devices. That means, the Xperia E1, E2, C3,
M2, M2 Aqua, T3, and T2 Ultra will not be getting
the Lollipop update. @VIVSNO Hi. We can advise
that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is going to be
released for the entire Xperia Z series only,
Sony Xperia (@sonyxperia) March 4, 2015 Sony
has been clear about the Lollipop update for the
Xperia Z series since October last year

HTC E9 is comeing online

Sporting the model number A55, HTC E9
is bound to be a budget friendly version of the
Taiwanese manufacturer's flagship, HTC One M9.
The unannounced device will succeed HTC One E8,
who fulfilled the same duties a year ago.

The photos appear to reveal a plastic body with
BoomSound speakers. The device's camera has
the same large circular cutout that we saw on HTC
One M9 Plus. Previously rumored specs of HTC E9
include MediaTek MT6795 chipset with an
octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor,
PowerVR G6200 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. A 5.5" QHD
display, 20MP camera, and Android Lollipop are also
 expected on board.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 -Germany, France and UK

The Microsoft Lumia 640 and its bigger brother,
the Lumia 640 XL. Only a few days later the former
model has already been put up for pre-order in the
Microsoft store for Germany, France and UK.

There are, however some interesting inconsistencies
across the stores. While the latter two offer the
Dual-SIM version of the handset, the UK store
has listed, what appears to be the single-SIM
variant. To further confuse things, prices also appea
r to differ. The German store, which was indeed the
first to put-up the offer, has set a price of EUR 159,
whereas the smartphone goes for EUR 179 on the French website.

This might be due to TAX differences, but the fact
that the single-SIM model is listed for GBP 169.99,
or about EUR 236 in the UK page is quite puzzling.
All of the devices are, however described as
LTE-enabled. The UK store does also state that the
Lumia 640 will be available starting April 7, whereas in
the German and French sites this date has been pushed
forward to April 16. Despite the odd, inconsistent listing
the fact is that Microsoft doesn't intend to waste any time
getting the smartphone on the market.

Oppo smartphone - the R1C

Oppo smartphone - the R1C

Oppo smartphone - the R1C, which was announced in
January. The stunning sapphire-glass-back Oppo R1C
will soon be available worldwide, under the name Oppo
R1x. The handset is crafted up to the high standards of the
rest of the manufacturer's lineup and employs the same
high-strength CNC frame like the R5. It is also quite thin,
at only 6.85mm and weighs only 130 grams.

The R1x's most distinctive feature is the eye-catching
sapphire-faceted back panel. The almost chameleon-style
color effects on the phone are achieved through UV
embossing of the layer, right underneath the glass, thus
creating areas with different light-reflective capabilities.

Oppo has definitely been working hard on its designs lately.
Both the Oppo R5 and the N3 are gorgeously crafted,
very thin phones that give off a definite premium feeling and,
of course, are also priced accordingly. Specs-wise, nothing
will be changed in the international version of the Oppo R1
and it will be pretty identical to its, Chinese counterpart, except,
of course, supporting GSM networks. The phone features a 5-inch
"Pixel Eye" HD screen and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8939
Snapdragon 615 SoC, with four Cortex-A53 CPU cores,
clocked at 1.7GHz and another four at 1.0 GHz. This
quite-capable mid-range chip is backed up by 2GB of RAM
and 16GB of onboard memory, along with a microSD slot for up
 to 128GB more.

The main camera on the phone is a 13MP shooter and has an
LED flash, while on the front there is a 5MP model. The R1x
should hit international markets mid- to late April this year and
will be available in two colors - sapphire blue and ice white.

Motorola Moto E slightly bigger-predecessor

Motorola made the second generation of Moto
E official - the screen size grew to 4.5", the chipset
moved to a 64-bit one and also got 4G LTE connectivity.
The 5MP camera can now record 720p video
 and there's a VGA front-facing camera. There's no
mention of a dual-SIM version yet though. The Moto E 2015
is slightly bigger, but practically the same thickness
and weight as its predecessor. The screen is still at
qHD 540 x 960px, which means it's not very sharp,
at least it's an IPS LCD with Gorilla Glass 3 and a
anti-smudge coating. The chipset is a Snapdragon 410
- a 64-bit quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.2GHz with 1GB
of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

That's for the 4G LTE version though, the 3G
version will arrive with an old-school Snapdragon
200, which goes back to 32-bit Cortex-A7 cores
and the slower Adreno 302 GPU. The phone, of
course, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, which looks
unmodified so it should get updates quickly, despite
 the change of ownership.

There's 8GB of built-in storage double what the
1st gen had and a microSD card slot.
its nice than motorola-moto-x
The main
camera is a 5MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture
and can record 720p video at 30fps. There are
two microphones on the handset for stereo audio.
There's a VGA camera on the front, not exactly a
selfie dream but better than nothing which is what the
original model has. The Motorola Moto E 2015 has
the same water resistance coating used on its bigger
bros and a larger 2,390mAh battery up from 1,980mAh.

Samsung Galaxy A7 is great

Samsung has launched the new A7 in the
Indian market. Unlike the A3 and the A5,
which were announced with a formal launch
event, the A7 was quietly made available
without much fanfair. At least one retailer so
far has claimed to have received the device,
with an official price tag of Rs. 30,500 -$491.
It is technically the A7 Duos model, which comes
with two SIM card slot, just like the A3 and A5. The
A7 is the current flagship in Samsung's new A series
and has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display,
 Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 64-bit
octa-core chipset with 4x 1.5GHz Cortex-A53
cores + 4x 1.0GHz Cortex-A53 cores, Adreno
405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory with micro
SD card slot shared with SIM 2 slot, 13 megapixel
rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, 2,600mAh battery. Share Link

Samsung to pay $15.7 million

The company has been found guilty on
infringing the patents of company Rembrandt
Wireless Technologies LP by the Harrison
County federal jury. The two patents that Samsung
has been found guilty on infringing relate to
Bluetooth technology. More specifically the
patent duo relates to a "system and method
of communication using at least two modulation
methods." The Korean company has been making,
selling, using and offering for sale Bluetooth EDR
enhanced data rate devices and the aforementioned
technology is in the core of them. Just a week ago,
Samsung settled its legal arguments with Microsoft
over royalties. Still, the $15,7 million are nothing next
to the $1.05 billion that Samsung paid Apple in 2012.

Lollipop update for Xperia Z3

Sony has regularly been criticized for its support
policies, leaving behind mid-range models and
taking its time with flagship updates.
The entire Xperia Z lineup has been promised the
Lollipop update, though, and the company is slowly
delivering. Vodafone Australia has confirmed that the
Android 5.0 update for the Xperia Z3 and Z2 is
nearing, with the carrier awaiting the software for
testing later this month. That would likely push the
actual release to March for Vodafone branded devices.
Stock firmware Xperias should receive the update
somewhat earlier. The HTC One M8 update,
mentioned in the Vodafone document, is no headline
news to us, as we've already witnessed it seeding in
India and Europe among other countries.

    OnePlus One-India subcontinent

    OnePlus One-India subcontinent

The OnePlus One in India seems to have finally
come to a conclusion, but not in a good way
for prospective owners of the device in the
    subcontinent.
It turns out the situation is exactly like
OnePlus said it would be - Cyanogen will
not be updating the OnePlus One units sold
in India. This has now been clearly stated by
the software company itself. Only people who
buy the 'global' version of the OnePlus One
will get continued support from Cyanogen. Those
who buy the Chinese variant of the phone will see
it run Color OS as before, while those who buy
the Indian variation will have it delivered
running CyanogenMod 11S like the global model,
but won't be getting any updates to that ROM.

OnePlus has committed to fast tracking development
of its own ROM for the Indian OnePlus One,
and a first alpha release should come soon -
with a more stable iteration planned for February.
This ROM will be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop,
will allegedly be bloat-free, will retain Google's
Material Design, and will be flashable on the phones
that shipped with CyanogenMod. Initially, OnePlus
said Cyanogen, Inc. did an exclusive deal with
Micromax for the Indian market. And this meant
that the custom ROM company would not be providing
updates for OnePlus One units sold in India where sales
began last week. Then, a few days ago, Cyanogen issued
a strangely worded blog post which seemed to imply that
it would actually support India-sold OnePlus One devices.

Meizu has announced a new smartphone

    Meizu new smartphone

Meizu has announced that it will unveil a new
     smartphone on Monday, December 8.
In an interview with Chinese portal ZOL,
the company's VP Li Nan referred to the
device as a "quality smartphone" aimed at
young people. Although Lan didn't provide
any more details, it is highly likely that the
device in question is the much awaited
    low-cost Meizu K52 which recently
popped up on the GFX Bench database.

The smartphone, which is said to run
Android 4.4.4 KitKat and sport a
     MediaTek MT6752 chipset with octa-core
    CPU at 1.7 GHz, a 4.6 inch 1920x1080
pixel display, 2GB of RAM, and 12GB of
internal memory, is expected to be priced at
    around 1,000 yuan around $160.

In addition, Lan also mentioned that the
company has no plans to introduce
MX Mini models, saying that the Meizu MX4

    VoiceTab II-HP

Less than a year after introducing the
Slate 6 VoiceTab, HP released its successor:
the Slate 6 VoiceTab II. The only differences
that we can spot right now between the new
tablet and the old model are related to the
software version, and the rear camera.

The Slate 6 VoiceTab II runs Android 4.4 KitK
at out of the box instead of 4.2 Jelly Bean like
the original tablet, and comes with an 8 MP
rear camera instead of a 5 MP one.

The rest of the features seem to have
     remained unchanged, including: 3G connectivity,
     a 6-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels,
     2 MP front-facing camera, a quad-core 1.2 GHz
Marvell PXA1088 processor, 1 GB of RAM,
16 GB of expandable storage space, and a
    3000 mAh Li-Po battery.
The device obviously has voice-calling capabilities,
and even offers support for two SIM cards.
