 What’s considered a good CTR is a hard figure
to nail down. It’s against Google’s policies for
publishers to publicly discuss the results they
have with the AdSense program. So, despite
the fact that you may have seen discussions
about it on the Internet, you should avoid suit.
Still, it helps to have a general idea of what you
 can expect.

The thing to remember is that those numbers
are in no way official or accurate. They’re
whispers heard and accurate only to the specific cases
and circumstances in which they
actually happened. A wide variety of factors
can affect your CTR, from placement of the ads
and the amount of traffic on your Web site to
the mood of site visitors in a given day and the
colors of the ads themselves.

All these factors are variables that change
often. To further cloud the picture, fluctuations
in the popularity of certain keywords, changes
in the budgets of advertisers, and the ways in
which those advertisers choose to write their
ads have to be considered.

To some extent, your click-through-rate is
dependent upon the advertiser. If the advertiser
isn’t doing his homework and properly targeting his ads,
 your click-through-rates could be affected because the
 ads won’t appeal to your site visitors.

Keep in mind that whatever keywords you choose should
 be used intelligently on your Web page. If you include the
 keywords but don’t use them properly, you’ll do yourself
more harm than good by causing inappropriate ads to
appear or by causing Google to disqualify your site from the
AdSense program for not following proper Web design practices.

Heading metatags
Alt text
Now, for those of you out there who are faint-of-heart when it comes to HTML
coding, be aware that you need to physically place these metatags (with the
exception of the alt text) in the top section of the HTML code of your Web
page, between the tags that indicate the head of your page.

Text ads are so appealing  and certainly the main
reason they perform so well when compared to the other
 types of ads that AdSense makes available  is because
 text ads can be made to blend well into your Web page.

    Nexus 9-far detailed

    Nexus tablet we've been treated to more than one leak
     about the coveted Nexus 9. The latest one is from
     hardware-assessing app CPU-Z, which confirms the SoC in charge
    of the tablet is the latest Nvidia Tegra K1 64-bit.

    We've already suspected the tablet will carry a 64-bit Nvidia
     chip and with two leaks behind it, the rumors seem plausible
    to say the least. The Tegra K1 inside the Nexus 9 will have a
     top clock speed of 2.5GHz which is higher than the 2.2GHz
    non-64-bit Tegra K1 we benchmarked and found to top
     charts, especially in the graphics department.

    Nvidia claims its Tegra K1 chip is 1.5 times more efficient
     than its competition which should translate into reasonable
     battery life despite the immense power within. The Tegra K1
     has a 192-core GPU based on the desktop-grade Kepler
    architecture and Nvidia's Cuda cores. As for the Nexus 9, it's
     rumored to have a 4:3 aspect 1440 x 2048 pixel 8.9" display
     of 281ppi, 8MP camera and the latest Android L from Google.

    According to ad viewing traffic from Chitika Insights the
    Amazon Fire phone commands around 0.015% of ad serving
     in the US for the last 20 days of Chitika's research.

    Coupled with the comScore data that in the three months
     ending June 2014 there were between 173m and 175m
    phones active in the US some have estimated that the Amazon
     Fire phone has only ended up in the hands of around 26
     thousand users. Amazon released its Fire phone exclusively
    on AT&T's network for $199 but there were no official
    numbers given since then as is usual for Amazon. After
    some elaborate number crunching, the source points that
     if not all Fire Phone users are active online the 26 thousand
     units may rise to 35 thousand - because the people who
    aren't online don't show up on the survey.

    Either way, the number is far lower than the Kindle tablets
     and clearly point that the phone is enjoying less than
     great reception. Again no official numbers have
     been given and as the estimates above are vague
     as it is the Fire phone could very well have sold slightly more.
