Narendra Modi Arrives In Germany


Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Hannover, Germany
 on Sunday, the second leg of his three-nation, nine-day tour,
after concluding a successful visit to France.

Upon his arrival at the Hannover Langenhagen Airport, the
Prime Minister was greeted by Germany Ambassador to
India Michael Steiner, Indian envoy Vijay Gokhale, Chief of
 Protocol Ambassador Juergen Mertens, Consul General
Dr Vidhu P. Nair, among other dignitaries.





During his visit to Germany, Prime Minister Modi will be present at the opening ceremony of the 2015 edition of the Hannover Messe business fair, for which India is the partner country.

He will later unveil a bust of Mahatma Gandhi in Hannover, before holding talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

On Monday, the Prime Minister, along with Chancellor Merkel, will jointly open the India pavilion at the Hannover Messe, before travelling to Berlin to visit the Siemens Technical Academy and meeting German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel.
