  • Offline Marketing-Adsense-Social Media Marketing

Social marketing is a relatively new concept
     that’s based on a phenomenon that’s grown
despite the fact that no marketing experts
saw it coming, and it’s all based on social
networks, such as those brought into being by
    MySpace and Facebook.

The idea with social networks is that
you have an online community where
you can connect and share with people
who have the same interests that you
do. For some, that might be an interest
in specific people or hobbies. For
others, the interest could surround employment
or education. What’s important is that a
social network lets you create a circle of like
-minded friends and acquaintances — also
called a community. For example, with MySpace, the
concept is to build a home page where you
    and your friends can connect.
You can also connect with others who are
    potential friends because they can
view your MySpace page and learn about
     you and your interests.

If you’re marketing with social networking,
create your network, and as you have
something to market, share it with that
group of friends in your community.
They then share it with their friends, and
before you know it, a network that’s
far beyond the group you could reach on
your own knows what you’re doing.

Here’s the catch with social media marketing
though: If you develop a social
network specifically to sell something to
the people in that network, you’ll fall
right on your face. Really. Social networks
are created by people who have
something to share with other people who
think like them. If you barge into the
network with a sales pitch and nothing more,
     you’ll be completely ostracized.

f you really want to see how social media
     marketing works, check out some
of the organizations that have successful
sites on MySpace or Facebook —
Christian bands like Three Days Grace,
for example. To get to the point
where a social media marketing strategy
is successful requires a lot of effort
and attention, but the results can be very
much worth the time you put into
developing your place on the network.

AdSense allows website owners to earn money
from their sites in a way that they couldn't do
before. All they have to do is put the AdSense
code in their pages, and some visitors to the site
will click on the ads that are displayed. The more
visitors a site gets, the more people will click on
the ads, and the more money the site owner will
make. Because the ads are contextual, they match
the content of the pages they are displayed on, which
suits the advertisers because it drives people who are
interested in their topic to their sites, and they only pay
when people click on their ads.

Everyone is happy. Google makes lots of money,
advertisers get lots of targeted traffic and only pay for
ad impressions when someone clicks on them, Web
users can find more things that they are interested in,
and website owners can make anything from a small
amount of money to a very large amount of money.
Even the earnings from tiny websites can often offset
or pay for the upkeep of the sites - hosting, for instance.
Google created a system where everyone is a winner, and
if people hadn't taken advantage of it in ways that weren't
intended, everyone would still be happy.

Google announced a new ad format for Google AdSense
display ad units named magazine ads.
So instead of the display ad looking like a banner
ad with animation or various popping colors,
    magazine ads are very minimalistic.
Google said they "designed with print magazine
ads in mind, putting a big emphasis on space and
typography and displaying a new look distinctive
    from our regular text ads."

The ads certainly are more attractive
than the usual AdSense text ads.Google made it
"easier" to make AdSense ad units by refreshing
the interface and speeding things up within that interface.

The 300 x 1050 skyscraper might work on long pages,
but the 970 x 250 leaderboard seems a bit overwhelming.
And either one is going to look ugly unless it's a display ad
created for that size, as opposed to a slew of text ads or a
couple of 300 x 250 ad units floating in the space.

Traffic – We’ve covered this already in the series. You need
traffic, and specifically organic traffic, to stay competitive
and make the dollar bills go into your pocket.

Keyword Value – Specifically you need to understand how
much money you can make with keywords and how to evaluate their value.

Competition – You also need to understand and be able to
evaluate your competitive landscape and those that are
competing for the exact same keywords and ranks within the search engines.

    Why Flickr forward-tools

As a visitor to Flickr, you can have an
awful lot of fun. You can search through
photos in a bunch of different
ways, from the sensible to the quirky.

But you get the most out of Flickr by using it
to store and show off your own
photos. When you try this, you find out the
really great things Flickr lets you do:
Storing your photos:You can create a free
account that holds hundreds of photos.
With a free account, you can upload
    20MB of photos a month,or about 100
reasonably sized JPEG images. The number of photos is
also limited — to 200. Or upgrade to a
    Pro account and store thousands.
You can simply store all your photos online,
at least up to a point. Or you can just store the
interesting ones and keep the rest on your PC —
or take the opportunity to send them to the
     great bit box.
Sharing your photos:People can visit Flickr and see your photos —
under your control! You can keep private photos confined to a small
group of viewers, whereas others can be seen by anyone who visits
    Flickr.
Sorting your photos:As your “photobase” grows,
you can sort and organize your photos in many ways,
making them more interesting and convenient to access for your own use and for others.
Searching through photos:Labeling and organizing your photos well
makes it very easy for you to find just the ones you want — and for
others to find the photos you want to share with them as well.
    Flickr and your photos.
In addition to doing these basic things, you can also get involved with the
Flickr user community. There are special things you can do with photos on
Flickr that you can’t do other places.

Add notes to a photo: For instance, you can name everyone in that picture from the office party.
Add tags to a photo: Make it easy for people to find your picture among
others like it. For instance, by adding the tag “Golden Gate bridge” to
your photo, you can make it easy for people to find your photo among
all those of the famous San Francisco landmark.
Put a photo in a pool:Pools of photos are photos linked in some way; if
you see an open pool that’s relevant, you can dive right in and add your
    photo to it!
Engage in discussions about photos:You can share comments about
photos on a message board — even highlight an area on a photo and
mark it up with a message. Yes, you’ll see lots of immature “kiss me,
you fool”-type messages if you look around.
Publish photos to a blog or your Web site:You can put pictures hosted
on Flickr in your blog or other Web site. You can even see recent Flickr
    uploads on your mobile phone.
We don’t describe these additional features of Flickr in much detail here —
after you dive in to Flickr

    Publishing Your Web Pages-AdSense-how-to

Your approach to creating Web pages for a
small Web site should be similar
to your approach to creating a single
Web home page. Each page should
stand alone as a worthwhile place for
your Web visitors to spend time, learn
    something, or have some fun.

One of the best ways to create a strong Web
site is to first create each Web page separately.
Make sure that each page has the information
you want, that it downloads in a reasonable
amount of time, that all the links work, and that
    the page looks good.

You may want to take the design consistency
of your Web site to another level by adding
repeated graphical elements and a strong,
consistent approach to layout across all your
Web pages. This is the approach taken by the pros. We
suggest that, unless you have some design experience .

Compare your planned site to similar or competing
sites and revise your plans accordingly.
Create your site on your own machine first and test it thoroughly.
Carefully choose a Web service provider that will do the
best job of hosting your site.

Get your site up on the Web and begin an ongoing
    cycle of testing and revision.

    • Decide how many pages to have and how they link to each other.
    • Put the purpose of your site near the top of your home page.
    • Indicate the purpose of each additional page near the top of that
    page.
    • Use headers, bullets, icons, and other graphical or emphasis elements to highlight key points.
    • Think about what graphics you need. Start the process of generating or obtaining them.
    • Use summary elements, such as a site map and a Frequently Asked
    Questions FAQ page.
    • Put navigational elements — links from your home page to other
pages in your site, and from other pages back to the home page —
in a consistent spot at the top or bottom of each page.

    Earning with AdSense Ads

AdSense for Feeds doesn’t currently have a designation
on the AdSense Web site. In fact, if you’re not specifically
searching for the topic, you won’t ever
find it. And it’s not just the information that’s hard to locate.
Anything related to your earnings or the performance
of the ads is also non-existent.

At least for now, feed ads are tracked through
     AdSense for Content. I assume
that will change when the program is finally released
for general consumption. At that time, it’s most likely that
     — like other AdSense programs — feed
ads will have their own sections.

Until then, assigning a channel that’s specific to your
feed ads is the best way to track them. Since the
numbers for your ads will be lumped in with AdSense
for Content data, without a designated channel you’ll
never know what’s coming from your Web site or
blog and what’s coming from your feed.

AdSense for Feeds is such a great idea. There
are so many instances of dynamic, feed-enabled
content on the Web today that it only makes sense to
monetize that content. How long it will take for the
program to make the final cut and be released to
the general public is anyone’s guess, though. In the
meantime, keep working with your other AdSense ads

    Understanding Referral Units

Recommending products and services to others
on the Web has been aconcept for as long as the
Web’s been around. Probably one the best known
referralprograms okay, referringto something in this
context is the same asrecommending it is the one
that Amazon.com offers for the books and other
products that are available to buyers around the world.
Everyone has seenthe little Amazon boxes on
Web sites that allow you to click through to buy
    the featured product.

Google AdSense offers the same type of service.
The difference is thatAdSense offers the ability to
refer other programs or Web sites, rather than
just offer the products that you like. For example,
I use the Firefox Webbrowser, which is a personal
preference, but I love it and think everyone who
tries it will love it too. I include an AdSense referral
button for Firefox wherespace allows on my Web sites.
Then, each time a user clicks through thatreferral button
and downloads Firefox, I get a small payment added to my
    AdSense revenues.

Referrals are a neat feature that can seriously help
to bump your AdSenseearnings if the referral ads
are targeted well to your Web site audience. The
key is in the targeting though, as you see when you
get a little deeper into thischapter. There are two
kinds of referral products — Google products
and nonGoogle products — so you’re
not as limited in what you can refer your users
to as you might be with other referral programs.

Adding Referrals to Your Web Pages

If you’ve already tried a few of the other AdSense
ad formats, you’ll soondiscover that creating referral
ads is a little bit different. Succinctly put, you
have lots of choices, but your choices are restricted.
I know, that doesn’tmake much sense on the face
of it, so let me put it another way: You can only
do so much stylistic customization with any individual
AdSense referral, butyou have plenty of referrals
to choose from, giving you the power to
customize which products you refer to your visitors.

Even the process of creating referral ads is a little different.
You don’t immediately start with a stylistic choice
for what kind of ad to create.

    • Google AdSense for Content - A variety of size and shape ads for placing in your content are available. These can be text or image ads or both - you specify what you'll allow. Ad units are full ads. Link units are simply a strip of text links that your visitors might want to click. Google allows you to put up to 3 Ad Units and 1 Link unit on each page of your Web site, provided you follow its policies - both for AdSense and for Webmasters.
    • Google AdSense for Search - This places a search box on your Web site. When a user enters a term and conducts a search, a search results page opens, that hosts more pay-per-click ads. You can customize the color scheme of the search results page to harmonize with your web site.
    • Google Referrals - Here you make money by referring visitors to use a Google product, like AdSense, AdWords, the Google Toolbar and other Google software. Just like Google AdSense for Content and AdSense for Search, Google generates the code that you paste into the desired location on your web page. You can choose from a wide variety of buttons and text links of different colors. As an example of how Google Referrals works, if someone goes to your site and clicks the link and signs up for an AdSense account, when that person earns a $100 from Google AdSense and receives a payout from Google, you'll also receive $100 for referring them. This is a great idea to me, because you can be the world's worst Google AdSense advertiser

    Google Ad Sense Tips

    Google Ad Sense Tips

    • Quality is the most important part of any web site. If your site does not contain the content of expected quality the visitor might not come back,
    • Although Google doesn't release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page, they do say that it's the text content of the page that matters, not the meta tags.
    • Some webmasters are designing brand new sites specifically for serving AdSense text ads, however it’s against the AdSense rules to design a site purely for AdSense, so you’ll want to include a few Affiliate links or sell your own product, too.
    • A great resource for earning money is using traffic driving sites like Flixya You can sign up for Google Adsense and Flixya, without the costs or time needed to build traffic or your own site.
    • In early internet days, you may see a site notice asking everyone to click the ads. The day has gone long time ago. If Google detects possible cheating, there is no such thing as presumption of innocence. They assume that you are guilty.
    • Do not click your ads. If Google catches you, they will suspend your account and retain any earnings you might have. However, if you, by mistakes, click your ads for one or two times, Google will keep that earning but rather not to punish you as long as it doesn't happen constantly.
    • Google has a lot of restrictions on how the ads have to be displayed. One of the major reasons for account suspension is that webmasters tried to blur the ads and mislead others to think that it's "content". For simplicity, never attempt to use CSS to hide Google's logo unless you're authorized to do it!
    • If you don't have any content, Google will have to guess what your page is about. It may guess wrong, and so the ads that it displays may not be relevant.
    • Allow some ad slots to serve different sized creative depending on the viewport size.
    • Allow some ad slots to be hidden on different viewports  a wide layout might have 3 adslots, in mobile only a single ad.

How to Sign Up for Google AdSense

You must be atleast 18 years of age to participate in AdSense.
Your Payee Name needs to match the name on your bank account.
You must have a website to participate in this program (No Blogs, No Free Website or Free Domain).  You must have Paid Domain.  You have submit only the primary URL of your site.  Example: http://www.testdomain.com. Don’t submit URL like this http://www.testdomain.com/adsense.
You put Unique, Quality Content not copied from other sites or blogs with High Paying Keywords.  Your website atleast consists of 15 pages.
You website perfectly designed (it must be an attractive one) and your website complied with Google Webmaster Guidelines.
Before applying for AdSense you should make sure that your submit your Sitemap of your site to Google Webmaster Tools.
Promote your website through more than 600 free classifieds website available on Internet.  Promote your site offline also.
Post your website on forums.  Send your website through E-mail to your friends.  Submit your site to Alexa also.
You can also see my all Youtube videos. You can subscribe now.

Probably the best position of the advertisements is in the top / header of your site. However, this can break the consistency of your content, so you should be careful using such a solution. Other good locations are just below the navigation bar, above the footer and in the left menu area. You should always put yourself in the visitors' shoes and look to the web site from their point of view. If the ads block makes you feel uncomfortable while browsing the web site, you should consider a different position or formatting.
Additionally, you should define the number of the advertisement units per page. There are some restrictions about it. You are allowed to have up to three advertisement units per page (in addition to three link units and three referral units). If you have a web site with a lot of content, which requires the visitors to scroll down the pages or you manage a forum or a blog, it is wise to put more AdSense blocks. However, always make sure that the main unit which will generate the major part of the revenue is loaded first in the web site source code. In case you wonder, if you place more than 3 ads units on a page only the first 3 will appear.

AdSense. Google AdSense was the first program started 8 years back where any person from any part of the world can participate and make money. Prior to Google AdSense, people were making lots of money from other programs like affiliate programs, eBay, Clickbank, Commission Junction but that was limited to some of the countries like US, UK, Canada etc. When Google started AdSense in 2003, it was opened for everyone who own a website or a blog. It was very easy to make money with AdSense and still people are making thousands of dollars from Google AdSense.
So now its sure that you need a website for making money on Google AdSense. Many of the people when think of creating a site for making money, they just loose the hopes. They think creating a site means, you need to be an expert and need web designing knowledge. But this is the thing of the past. Now people like me and you can easily create a site though many of the software that comes with the hosting. And yes, creating a WordPress blog is damn easy.

The source of all AdSense income is the AdWords program, which in turn has a complex pricing model based on a Vickrey second price auction. AdSense commands an advertiser to submit a sealed bid (i.e., a bid not observable by competitors). Additionally, for any given click received, advertisers only pay one bid increment above the second-highest bid. Google currently shares 68% of revenue generated by AdSense with content network partners, and 51% of revenue generated by AdSense with AdSense for Search partners.

Google Adsense is an affiliate pay per click mode that has taken the Internet part. There are a gift of sites dedicated solely to Google Adsense. Google Adsense is a nice way for a small Internet site owner to make some extra money. Using Adsense does not require any special knowledge, just a computer and a working web site.

First, you should choose the advertisement block format which best suits your web site visual style. The experience shows that the 336x280 Large Rectangle, the 300x250 Medium Rectangle, and the 160x600 Wide Skyscraper are the most effective shapes. Still, you should mind the visual appearance of your web pages when you insert the AdSense code. If you have a little space for ads, the best solution will be the link unit format.

    Paid Traffic

Google hates the sites that are getting paid traffic and mostly penalizes them so there is not a damn chance of getting approved by AdSense for a site that is getting paid traffic. You can bring traffic from Search Engines or any other way you want but if you want to earn via Google AdSense the right way, paid traffic is not a solution.
Also note, that Google do not accept site which gets traffic from illegal sources. So focus on getting traffic from legal sources like social media, SEO and related blogs.

Putting AdSense video capabilities into place on your Web site differs a little
with each different type of video capability AdSense offers. The simplest path
to take involves using click-to-play video ads, whereas AdSense for Video is
    definitely a bit trickier.
Implementing click-to-play video ads is as simple as choosing the right format.

You have no control over what videos get placed beyond enabling the
graphic format that click-to-play video ads require. Ads are placed when
    they’re appropriate for your site.
Earning with click-to-play ads is the same as earning with other AdSense for
Content ads. Site visitors must click the ad and be taken to the advertiser’s
Web site for you to earn your payment on the ad.

Video units are a little more complicated than
    click-to-play ads. Video units
are actually ads shown along with
YouTube videos that are displayed in a
specialized player you’ve added to your Web site.
You do have some control over what
videos you choose to show in your
player. You can select the video content
you want by picking content categories,
    by selecting individual content providers,
     or by having video automatically
    targeted to your site content.

Before you can do any of that, however,
you have to have a YouTube account
that’s connected to your Web site.

    YouTubeis a video-sharing service that’s owned
by Google. With YouTube, anyone can upload
and share videos with others. Or, if you’re not
    the videoshooting-and-sharing kind of person,
you can browse YouTube videos to find
things that interest you. Since I’ve been using
     YouTube, I’ve watched movie spoofs,
instructional videos, and even sermons from church services. What
you watch is directed by your taste in videos.

While it is a good idea to use section targeting around the
main content, you should skip adding the section targeting
tags for the comment section in your blog because the
comments may not exactly convey what the page is all
about. The aim is to increase the relevance of Google Ads.

    Installing the code

Installing the code for the AdSense player is exactly like installing any other
AdSense code on your Web site. First highlight and copy the code and then
paste it into the HTML- HyperText Markup Language for your Web site,
    between the <body>and </body>tags.

After you upload your Web site code to the server, your
video units should begin showing immediately,
although in some rare cases, you could experience
a short delay. If your ads aren’t showing within about an hour of having
uploaded the new site with the AdSense code included, contact AdSense to
see if you’ve done something wrong.

Ditch The Leaderboard. Almost every site
that uses AdSense features a 728×90 leaderboard
ad unit. While this size is very popular, it isn’t
always the best performer because it is inherently
separated from the content. Ad units that can be
     integrated into a site’s content, such as a 300×250,
     often perform better.

Shut Off Other Revenue Streams. We’d generally
encourage running other types of monetization efforts
besides traditional banner ads and link units, such as
Outbrain. But it’s worthwhile to experiment with shutting
these other efforts off and analyze the impact on
AdSense performance. If low paying monetization
    implementations are cannibalizing higher paying
opportunities, you could make more money by removing the laggards.

In addition to the forward facing design elements
highlighted above, there are a number  tweaks that
can be made to help the entire ad serving process
run more smoothly. Maximizing your site’s speed,
planning around the mobile appearance, and taking
advantage of available reporting and analytics, you’ll
be able to squeeze out some additional revenue.

domain name- A name that represents a Web site

United States, the domain name can end in .com for businesses, .edu for
educational institutions, .org for nonprofit organizations, or the prestigious
.net for organizations that are part of the structure of the Web itself.
Newly added suffixes, which haven’t necessarily caught on yet, include .biz
and .firm. When visiting a domain that was created for an organization
outside the United States, you may see different suffixes that have been added to
represent a country or region. For example, .uk signifies that the domain
was created for the United Kingdom. The part of the domain that precedes
the suffix, such as test.in test.edu, is either the name of the
group that puts up the Web site, or a name that attracts people to the site.
Domain names can start with wwwif desired, but it’s not always necessary.

    21. How Much Can You Earn With AdSense?

The commission you receive per click depends on how much advertisers are paying Google for the particular ad. You will earn a share of that amount.  I've heard of earnings anywhere from 2 cents to $15 per click.
Getting over $1 is probably very rare, although it does happen from time to time. However, you will find that most of your earnings will be on the lower.

    22. If you want to make a lot of money, prepare to write a lot of content and learn how to market your site. Don't expect to throw up a 10 page site and make $1,000 per month.

    Mobile content is different-AdSense

When you’re considering a mobile surfer as
part of the audience for your site,
keep in mind the different uses for the mobile
Web. Google has done a lot of
research in this area and has defined three
     types of mobile surfers:
Repetitive Now:This is the group of mobile
     surfers who have a set
of online activities that they conduct from their
     phones on a regular
basis. Some of the repetitive tasks these
    surfers perform are checking
the weather, reading news stories and blog posts,
     and checking stock quotes.

Bored Now:The Bored Now group of Web surfers have a few minutes
of downtime and don’t know what else to do in such a short amount of
time. Out comes the phone, and the Web browser is opened to occupy
their minds for just a few minutes. This type of mobile surfer is probably
the most targeted because this is the only area where true e-commerce
dollars can be captured. Bored Now surfers are selecting ringtones,
downloading videos, and adding themes to their phones.

Urgent Now:“We need it right now” is the motto of this group of mobile
surfers. These people are booking, changing, or checking airline flights,
booking hotel rooms, finding directions, or locating restaurants. They
need information now, so they pull out their phones to find it.

Mobile content is definitely different from the content that you find on other
Web pages, and because it is, participation in AdSense for Mobile has some
different requirements. Obviously, the Web site must be mobile-compliant,
but it also must be developed with a server-side scripting language, such as
    PHP.

Article layout:The experience of reading on-screen is very different
from reading on paper. On-screen, it’s much easier to get lost. Eye strain
is also much more common when you focus on a computer screen for
too long. Computer screens have an invisible bar that scrolls across the
    screen refreshing the image constantly.

Your Web site visitors will love you for it. Potential Web site visitors are
more likely to stay on your site, reading your articles, viewing your other
types of content, and eventually clicking your AdSense ads if you’re offering
them content they can’t find elsewhere. The only place to get that kind of
content is to either write it yourself or hire someone to write it for you.

Titles and headings:Because reading is much more of a chore online,
many people don’t completely read everything. Those who do read
everything skim a page first just to make sure it’ll be worth their time to
read through it. That means you need to catch your visitors’ attention as
    quickly as possible.

Links within articles:One last element that you should include in
your articles and blog posts is links to other, related articles and blog
posts, both on your Web site and on others’ Web sites. Linking to other
resources provides additional information for your site visitors. Usually,
those visitors will click through those links and then click back to the
page from which they came. If you worry about visitors clicking away
from your site, never to return, set your links up so that they open in a
new window. Opening links in a new window keeps your Web site open
and in front of the visitors. When they’re finished examining the site
you’ve linked to, they can close the window and be right back on your
    Web site.

Google Mobile is a service for workers who are on the go and who are able to send
and receive information from their cell phone, Blackberry, or other palm device.

Google Mobile actually is a suite of services, each of which is available in a ‘‘small
screen’’ version: Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, Google News, and Google
    SMS, the text messaging service.
It’s easy to use the service: go to http://www.google.com/mobile.
Enter your mobile phone number in the box provided and click the Send
     me the link button.
In a few seconds, your cell phone will let you know a message has been received.

AdSense gives anyone with a Web site the ability to place ads there from Google.
Google makes sure the ads relate in some way to the content on the Web page. You’ve
probably seen AdSense ads before; they’re the contextual ads that often appear in a
block of two or three and are often lined up vertically on the page.

AdSense also gives you the option to add a search box to your site. This enables
your visitors to perform a search and turn up search results that complement your
own content. In either case, if someone clicks on one of the ads you display, you earn
a bit of revenue. You are paid either using the cost-per-click or CPC model or the
cost-per-thousand-impressions or CPM model. In CPC, you are paid a small amount
every time someone clicks on an ad. In CPM, you are paid when your ads are displayed 1000 times—in other words, when the page that displays an ad is viewed 1000
times. In either case, the earnings you make depend on how rich your site’s content

is and how many visitors your site attracts. Before you start working out the exact
size and format of the ads you want to run, your first job is to create a Web site that
has the content to make AdSense ads actually work.
